Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Beamard McSteven started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Terrence Moran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moyvoughly's supporters rose to their feet, but Terrence Moran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Terence O'Down breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Donavin McSteve could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Terence O'Down however easily saved by the left post. 10 minutes into the game, Brandon Morrison recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Terence O'Down. Brandon Morrison showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Bevin Mullan charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bevin Mullan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Moyvoughly's Bevin Mullan got a free kick in the 13th minute. Glengarriff's Terence O'Down played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brandon Morrison in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brandon Morrison in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Terence O'Down prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the game, Ailín Doyle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glengarriff's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moyvoughly the free kick. A collision led to Glengarriff getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ailín Doyle hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Glengarriff's goalkeeper Terence O'Down had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donavin McSteve. Brandon Morrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terence O'Down having to interfere. Brandon Morrison might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Terence O'Down. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brandon Morrison ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Glengarriff's Terence O'Down got control of the ball when Donavin McSteve tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Brandon Morrison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moyvoughly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brandon Morrison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donavin McSteve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Terence O'Down showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brandon Morrison in the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Glengarriff's Ailín Doyle got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Donavin McSteve managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moyvoughly's supporters rose to their feet, but Donavin McSteve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Terence O'Down breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brandon Morrison stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Brandon Morrison made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Glengarriff's Terence O'Down tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Glengarriff getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ailín Doyle hit a great ball. Donavin McSteve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brandon Morrison in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Terence O'Down saved Glengarriff from getting behind. Beamard McSteven might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Booak Caffrey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beamard McSteven ran back to his position shaking his head. If Donavin McSteve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brandon Morrison in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Terence O'Down saved Glengarriff from getting behind. If Donavin McSteve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 minutes of play Glengarriff's Ailín Doyle was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 85th minute, Ailín Doyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Terence O'Down showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donavin McSteve, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brandon Morrison in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 93rd minute Brandon Morrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terence O'Down saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Terence O'Down showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brandon Morrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After a rather tough play, Glengarriff's Bearach Callaghan got a free kick in the 95th minute. Brandon Morrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Terence O'Down tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
