The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Phelim Doherty during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Raymoghy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phelim Doherty to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Phelim Doherty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raymoghy's supporters rose to their feet, but Phelim Doherty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sameer Branson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37thth minute of the game Desmond Kirby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drumreilly's Sameer Branson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Desmond Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raymoghy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desmond Kirby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 56th minute, Drumreilly's Breannain Lavine ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Terrence Glen Crowe. Terrence Glen Crowe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Donncha Benson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Terrence Glen Crowe. Raymoghy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Drumreilly's goal looked a bit too open when Desmond Kirby came free, but Sameer Branson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Drumreilly's zone, Desmond Kirby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sameer Branson came out of the goal and Desmond Kirby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henry Morrison hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Breannain Lavine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Desmond Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sameer Branson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desmond Kirby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Hayes Doherty's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sameer Branson was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
