Meenachallow AFC's Rownun Ghee got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarlath Sheridan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seán Grant in the 37th minute. Drumreilly's Sameer Branson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Drumreilly from getting a goal against them. Timmons Harkin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
