With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toren Kirby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Begley Caffrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harry McVictor struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Terrence Glen Crowe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balladian FC. Hayes Doherty scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toren Kirby, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute Binnech Ghee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terrence Glen Crowe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Balladian FC defense, Desmond Kirby kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toren Kirby. The Balladian FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toren Kirby should have stopped the shot. Toren Kirby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phelim Doherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevis McLian struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Terrence Glen Crowe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balladian FC. Kevis McLian hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Toren Kirby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phelim Doherty in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Hayes Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toren Kirby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Begley Caffrey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Terrence Glen Crowe having to make a save. Toren Kirby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phelim Doherty in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Balladian FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hayes Doherty came free, but Toren Kirby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Binnech Ghee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Raymoghy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harry McVictor made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Balladian FC's Darby McPaul seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Darby McPaul the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Balladian FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Darby McPaul had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 56th minute of the game, Raymoghy got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Balladian FC's Toren Kirby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desmond Kirby in the 61st minute of play. Balladian FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Hayes Doherty scored to the left of an out of position Toren Kirby, making the score, 0-4. After 70 played minutes Raymoghy got a freekick which was hit by Saoirse MaCollin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barhan Doyle got free with Toren Kirby in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Barhan Doyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Keely Cooney fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balladian FC's protests and gave Keely Cooney a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, Balladian FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keely Cooney to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desmond Kirby in the 83rd minute of play forced Balladian FC's goalkeeper Toren Kirby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, Raymoghy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayes Doherty to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desmond Kirby in the 96th minute of play forced Balladian FC's goalkeeper Toren Kirby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Palmer charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Palmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Balladian FC's Patrick Palmer got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded Raymoghy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Balladian FC.
