Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ahimma AFC's Gealan McTommy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brasil McSteve in the 4th minute of play forced Ahimma AFC's goalkeeper Antaine Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ahimma AFC defense, Barrie Doyle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antaine Byrne. The Ahimma AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antaine Byrne should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute Brasil McSteve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antaine Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baptist McAaron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Barley Ryan made a huge save. Antaine Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bairne Harkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Barrie Doyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brasil McSteve in the 32nd minute of play forced Ahimma AFC's goalkeeper Antaine Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gilbert Hamilton came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Brennanshill FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Hamilton couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilbert Hamilton to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilbert Hamilton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antaine Byrne. That made the score 0-3 in the 51 minute of play. Ahimma AFC's Antaine Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brasil McSteve in the 55th minute of play. Baptist McAaron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Barley Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Ahimma AFC's goalkeeper Antaine Byrne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brasil McSteve. 61 minutes into the game, Gilbert Hamilton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antaine Byrne. Gilbert Hamilton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Brasil McSteve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bairne Harkin's late challenge caught a Ahimma AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bairne Harkin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Brennanshill FC's Bairne Harkin got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st of the match, Gilbert Hamilton tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Antaine Byrne got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 73rd minute, Brasil McSteve ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antaine Byrne was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Antaine Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Hamilton , who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Antaine Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bairne Harkin in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Barrie Doyle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Antaine Byrne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baptist McAaron kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Antaine Byrne was a little too slow when Gilbert Hamilton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barrie Doyle got free with Antaine Byrne in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Brennanshill FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
