Belock Harkin kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Tevis Dimson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braden McNamara in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Braden McNamara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tevis Dimson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Braden McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Braden McNamara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tevis Dimson having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felim Dunne was the one to do the kick off. Finbar McFrancise struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Tevis Dimson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laheen AFC. Tevis Dimson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayes Gough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Braden McNamara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tevis Dimson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 57th minute Braden McNamara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tevis Dimson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Braden McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laheen AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braden McNamara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute Braden McNamara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tevis Dimson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hayes Gough scored 5-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tevis Dimson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laheen AFC's Braden McNamara got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tevis Dimson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Braden McNamara went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. If Hayes Gough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laheen AFC's Braden McNamara got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
