Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Baird Taylor took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Torran Rogers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 3rd minute of the match Scott Quinnless shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bannon Ryan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Scott Quinnless recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Cloon defense, Baird Taylor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bannon Ryan. The Cloon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bannon Ryan should have stopped the shot. Baird Taylors short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Bannon Ryan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Scott Quinnless hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Nollaig Taylor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobin Tierney, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Baird Taylor in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bannon Ryan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Fergal Myler came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Dunbrin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fergal Myler couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute Tobin Tierney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nollaig Taylor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Scott Quinnless fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dunbrin's protests and gave Scott Quinnless a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Scott Quinnless hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nollaig Taylor came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cloon's Tobin Tierney. But to his dismay, Tobin Tierney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Glen McWilliam to strike the kick off in the second half. With 52 minutes on the clock, Abban Gough commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Dunbrin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cloon:s goal. Nollaig Taylor had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Braydon Gollogley's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Dunbrin's goal looked a bit too open when Glen McWilliam came free, but Nollaig Taylor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobin Tierney got free with Nollaig Taylor in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dunbrin's Torna Keegan got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cloon's zone, Fergal Myler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bannon Ryan came out of the goal and Fergal Myler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Torna Keegan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Coinneach Lavine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dunbrin's Nollaig Taylor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Dunbrin from getting a goal against them. The Dunbrin fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Dunbrin's Torna Keegan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dunbrin fully deserved thier win.
