Glen McWilliam was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scronagare's goalkeeper Baydan McBrandon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Scronagare getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Bel Cassin hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Scronagare's goalkeeper Baydan McBrandon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobin Tierney. 1-0 became the score in the 42nd minute when Tobin Tierney elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tobin Tierney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Baydan McBrandon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Scronagare's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Braydon Gollogley was slow to take the kick. Baydan McBrandon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobin Tierney in the 61st minute of the match. Glen McWilliam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Tobin Tierney's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baydan McBrandon was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen McWilliam in the 69th minute of play forced Scronagare's goalkeeper Baydan McBrandon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Roland McPhil fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cloon's protests and gave Roland McPhil a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th match minute, Cloon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland McPhil to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Glen McWilliam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cloon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Bannon Ryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowland McIan in the 78th minute of the match. Scronagare's Baydan McBrandon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen McWilliam in the 81st minute of play. Tobin Tierney might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baydan McBrandon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobin Tierney ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the match, Cloon's goal looked a bit too open when Rowland McIan came free, but Bannon Ryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobin Tierney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Glen McWilliam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baydan McBrandon was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Scronagare's Baydan McBrandon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen McWilliam in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Tobin Tierney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cloon were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Scronagare for a fine match.
