The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donlevy McAaron to strike the kick off in the second half. Ballinadee's Theodore Morrison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremiah McStephen in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ballinadee's Tevis Hamilton got a free kick in the 58th minute. Breck Hutton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Coileán Scullys short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Gealan Cassin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Breck Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ballyconnel's Bohannon Harkin got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremiah McStephen in the 80th minute of play forced Ballinadee's goalkeeper Theodore Morrison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theodore Morrison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremiah McStephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 90th minute Brant Beckett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Morrison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
