Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Caoilte Deery took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cloon's Bannon Ryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Brennan in the 4th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Bolinglanna's goal looked a bit too open when Baolach Colwell came free, but Eoghan Kirby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eoghan Kirby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobin Tierney, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a little luck, Cloon's Bannon Ryan got control of the ball when Caoilte Deery tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Caoilte Deery had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bannon Ryan. Cloon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caoilte Deery was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caoilte Deery got free with Bannon Ryan in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cloon's Bannon Ryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold McCollion in the 34th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Harold McCollion kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bannon Ryan. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. Bannon Ryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harold McCollion in the 41st minute of the match. Peter Brennan took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bannon Ryan. Bannon Ryan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.

When Harold McCollion came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Bolinglanna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harold McCollion couldn't finish the play. Caoilte Deery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, Cloon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braydon Gollogley to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bolinglanna booed when Cloon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torran Rogers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caoilte Deery blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bannon Ryan having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Glen McWilliam got free with Eoghan Kirby in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Caoilte Deery left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolinglanna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Bannon Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caoilte Deery in the 68th minute of play. When Glen McWilliam came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Cloon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glen McWilliam couldn't finish the play. When Bolinglanna's Caoilte Deery in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cloon's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Bolinglanna's Eoghan Kirby got control of the ball when Tobin Tierney tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tobin Tierney's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eoghan Kirby firmly grabbed it by the left post. Harold McCollion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
