Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Hayes Gough left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laheen AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Laheen AFC's Hayes Gough got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braden McNamara in the 13th minute of play forced Scronagare's goalkeeper Baydan McBrandon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braden McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 played minutes Scronagare got a freekick which was hit by Kevis McAaron. Laheen AFC's Hayes Gough got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Braden McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laheen AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Braden McNamara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baydan McBrandon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Braden McNamara came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Laheen AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braden McNamara couldn't finish the play. Braden McNamara might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baydan McBrandon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braden McNamara ran back to his position shaking his head. When Berrach Tierney fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scronagare's protests and gave Berrach Tierney a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Scronagare getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Berrach Tierney hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes Scronagare got a freekick which was hit by Kevis McAaron. Hayes Gough didn't quite understand what happened when in the 35 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 44 played minutes Laheen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Barra Moran. 47 minutes into the game, one of Scronagare:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Laheen AFC a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hayes Gough, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Scronagare's Baydan McBrandon. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Baydan McBrandon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braden McNamara in the 57th minute of play. Braden McNamara might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baydan McBrandon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braden McNamara ran back to his position shaking his head. Kevis McAaron kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Laheen AFC's Belock Harkin in action when he in the 64th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 67th match minute, Scronagare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gearóid Doherty to maneuver through the defense. Finbar McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baydan McBrandon having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Hayes Gough recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baydan McBrandon. Hayes Gough showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 76th match minute, Scronagare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradon Gollogley to maneuver through the defense. If Braden McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Hayes Gough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Laheen AFC booed when Scronagare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevis McAaron didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 99th minute of the game. One of Scronagare:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Laheen AFC:s goal. 0-4 came in the 102nd minute when Hayes Gough all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Baydan McBrandon. Laheen AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
