Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Felim Dunne took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Scronagare booed when Roxborough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bec McLaughlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes in the game, Bel Cassin dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roxborough's goalkeeper Tevis Dimson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Roxborough's Bec McLaughlin got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Bel Cassin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tevis Dimson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rowland McIan came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Scronagare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rowland McIan couldn't finish the play. Tevis Dimson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rowland McIan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tevis Dimson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowland McIan in the 19th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Rowland McIan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tevis Dimson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rowland McIan, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Bel Cassin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 33 played minutes Roxborough got a freekick which was hit by Beara Moran. After 35 minutes, Lee Rogers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roxborough and the Scronagare players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lee Rogers kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Berrach Tierney fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scronagare's protests and gave Berrach Tierney a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Scronagare getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Berrach Tierney hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bel Cassin was the one to do the kick off. Bec McLaughlin kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Gearalt Bayes shot a long shot in the 54th minute and a light blocked Tevis Dimson hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. After 58 played minutes Scronagare got a freekick which was hit by Bradon Gollogley. After recieving a nice pass, Roxborough's Byrne McTommy tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Scronagare's David McJames got a free kick in the 61st minute. Bel Cassin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Roxborough fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! When Bel Cassin came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Scronagare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bel Cassin couldn't finish the play. If Bevan McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bel Cassins short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Tevis Dimson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bel Cassin struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Tevis Dimson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scronagare. Bec McLaughlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baydan McBrandon having to interfere. Bel Cassin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bel Cassin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Despite being the better team, Scronagare failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
