Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Glen McWilliam made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute of the match Roland McPhil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Theodore Morrison showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Glen McWilliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donlevy McAaron scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bannon Ryan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bannon Ryan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donlevy McAaron, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Coileán Scully fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bannon Ryan having to interfere. Fergus Holt charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fergus Holt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Donlevy McAaron scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bannon Ryan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Theodore Morrison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glen McWilliam in the 32nd minute of the match. Cloon's Bannon Ryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donlevy McAaron in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baolach Colwell in the 38th minute of play forced Ballinadee's goalkeeper Theodore Morrison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coileán Scully struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Bannon Ryan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballinadee. 46 minutes into the game, Ballinadee's Donlevy McAaron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bannon Ryan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

Earnán McBjarton hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Theodore Morrison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glen McWilliam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ballinadee's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Braydon Gollogley was slow to take the kick. During this time Cloon's players had a chance to rest. Cloon's Braydon Gollogley was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Theodore Morrison in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With his leg Bannon Ryan managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Ballinadee's Coileán Scully fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cloon's Glen McWilliam got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Braydon Gollogley kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Theodore Morrison didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Glen McWilliam went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. When Bresal Gallagher fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cloon's protests and gave Bresal Gallagher a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cloon! If Donlevy McAaron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bannon Ryan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Donlevy McAaron showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 92 minute of play. Coileán Scully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bannon Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
