Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donlevy McAaron kicked off to start the match. Theodore Morrison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayes Gough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 played minutes Laheen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brendon McLaughlin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hayes Gough in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theodore Morrison saved Ballinadee from getting behind. In the 14th minute Hayes Gough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Morrison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Coileán Scully had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ailín McJames. Laheen AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Coileán Scully was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 21st minute Braden McNamara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Morrison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 minutes of play, Laheen AFC's Braden McNamara made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Theodore Morrison was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Laheen AFC booed when Ballinadee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blaine Murphy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Hayes Gough managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laheen AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hayes Gough was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Hayes Gough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Coileán Scully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Laheen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Braden McNamara. The supporters of Ballinadee booed when Laheen AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayes Gough didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Brendon McLaughlin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Theodore Morrison showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Braden McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laheen AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braden McNamara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Braden McNamara was the one to do the kick off. Ballinadee's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Braden McNamara scored to the left of an out of position Theodore Morrison, making the score, 2-3. After 61 minutes, Braden McNamara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laheen AFC and the Ballinadee players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ballinadee booed when Laheen AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braden McNamara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ailín McJames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coileán Scully in the 62nd minute of the match. Bedilia Kirby's late challenge caught a Ballinadee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bedilia Kirby helped the player get up and apologised. Hayes Gough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodore Morrison having to interfere. In the 82nd minute of the match, Hayes Gough tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Theodore Morrison saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ballinadee's Theodore Morrison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayes Gough in the 84th minute of play. Braden McNamara might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Theodore Morrison. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braden McNamara ran back to his position shaking his head. Finbar McFrancise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Theodore Morrison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
