Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Roxborough's Felim Dunne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eoghan Kirby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felim Dunne, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Peter Brennan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Roxborough's Felim Dunne got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harold McCollion in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tevis Dimson saved Roxborough from getting behind. After 19 played minutes Roxborough got a freekick which was hit by Bec McLaughlin. When Harold McCollion, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tevis Dimson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Roxborough's Cassidy McFrancise got a free kick in the 21st minute. Roxborough's Tevis Dimson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold McCollion in the 24th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Roxborough's goalkeeper Tevis Dimson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caoilte Deery. Caoilte Deery in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tevis Dimson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 38th match minute, Bolinglanna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harold McCollion to maneuver through the defense. Bolinglanna's Caoilte Deery came free and shot a quick shot against goal 41 minutes in the game, fortunately Tevis Dimson had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Peter Brennan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Tevis Dimson made a huge save. Tevis Dimson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold McCollion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Bec McLaughlin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roxborough's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolinglanna the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Roxborough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bec McLaughlin to maneuver through the defense. Caoilte Deery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caoilte Deery made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Bolinglanna's Darrin Dalton got a free kick in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the game, Darrin Dalton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolinglanna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roxborough the free kick. The supporters of Roxborough booed when Bolinglanna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darrin Dalton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tevis Dimson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Brennan in the 56th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Roxborough got a freekick which was hit by Felim Dunne. When Baoithin McDonald fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roxborough's protests and gave Baoithin McDonald a yellow card for diving instead. Caoilte Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tevis Dimson having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Harold McCollion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caoilte Deery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Roxborough getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bec McLaughlin hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Roxborough's Beara Moran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eoghan Kirby. Eoghan Kirby yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Felim Dunne kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Caoilte Deery's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tevis Dimson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Tevis Dimson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caoilte Deery's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Caoilte Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tevis Dimson having to interfere. Roxborough were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Bolinglanna's much stronger midfield.
