Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rowland McIan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Begley McBjarton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baydan McBrandon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Scronagare's goal looked a bit too open when Begley McBjarton came free, but Baydan McBrandon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fionntán Dunne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rowland McIan in the 12th minute of play. Abbeyville's Fionntán Dunne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradon Gollogley in the 14th minute of play. Bradon Gollogley kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Bel Cassin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Fionntán Dunne made a huge save. Scronagare's Baydan McBrandon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Begley McBjarton in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Boyd Gallagher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abbeyville and the Scronagare players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Abbeyville got a freekick which was hit by Boyd Gallagher. Berrach Tierney charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berrach Tierney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Scronagare's Berrach Tierney got a free kick in the 25th minute. Scronagare's Baydan McBrandon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Begley McBjarton in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Bel Cassin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rowland McIan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abbeyville's goalkeeper Fionntán Dunne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Begley McBjarton in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baydan McBrandon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Breed Johnson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baydan McBrandon having to interfere. A hard shot 49 in the game by Bel Cassin from a close distance when the talented Fionntán Dunne managed to make a qualified save. Abbeyville's players were relieved.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Begley McBjarton made a kick off. The supporters of Scronagare booed when Abbeyville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartley McJames didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Rowland McIan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scronagare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rowland McIan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartley McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fionntán Dunne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bel Cassin's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Begley McBjarton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Scronagare's Rowland McIan in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abbeyville's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute, Begley McBjarton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abbeyville fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Rowland McIan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Begley McBjarton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abbeyville's Fionntán Dunne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rowland McIan in the 85th minute of play. Fionntán Dunne came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Scronagare's Rowland McIan. But to his dismay, Rowland McIan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Abbeyville's zone, Rowland McIan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fionntán Dunne came out of the goal and Rowland McIan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fionntán Dunne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bel Cassin, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Rowland McIan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fionntán Dunne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bel Cassin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fionntán Dunne was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Scronagare were the better team. Scronagare's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
