Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Caoilte Deery took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Harold McCollion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Caoilte Deery ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fionntán Dunne was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Caoilte Deery recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Peter Brennan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eoghan Kirby was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rollan McVictor. In the 18th minute, Banbhan Martyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Bolinglanna's Patton McVictor tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Abbeyville's goal looked a bit too open when Caoilte Deery came free, but Fionntán Dunne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sameer McAaron fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abbeyville's protests and gave Sameer McAaron a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Sameer McAaron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harold McCollion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Fionntán Dunne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Peter Brennan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Abbeyville's goal looked a bit too open when Caoilte Deery came free, but Fionntán Dunne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Abbeyville's zone, Caoilte Deery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fionntán Dunne came out of the goal and Caoilte Deery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Begley McBjarton hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Begley McBjarton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Abbeyville players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bolinglanna were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Begley McBjarton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fionntán Dunne came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Bolinglanna's Harold McCollion. But to his dismay, Harold McCollion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Abbeyville's Bartley McJames got a free kick in the 58th minute. Fionntán Dunne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caoilte Deery in the 59th minute. When Sameer McAaron came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Abbeyville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sameer McAaron couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Breandan McCollion put in a rough tackle. In the 74th minute, Breed Johnson made a precise shot to the right of Eoghan Kirby. Bolinglanna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Caoilte Deery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Abbeyville getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Breed Johnson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Abbeyville's zone, Harold McCollion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fionntán Dunne came out of the goal and Harold McCollion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bolinglanna's Darrin Dalton got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Brigid Kelly kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Bolinglanna's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
