Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ballyconnel's Jeremiah McStephen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Scronagare's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremiah McStephen came free, but Baydan McBrandon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baydan McBrandon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremiah McStephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Jeremiah McStephen made a precise shot to the right of Baydan McBrandon. Scronagare's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 11th minute Jeremiah McStephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baydan McBrandon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Scronagare's Rowland McIan got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Breck Hutton got free with Baydan McBrandon in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rowland McIan charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rowland McIan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rowland McIan hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Baydan McBrandon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremiah McStephen in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Jeremiah McStephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baydan McBrandon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ballyconnel's Jeremiah McStephen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baydan McBrandon. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. Rowland McIan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gealan Cassin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Ballyconnel's Breck Hutton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baydan McBrandon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Bradon Gollogley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baydan McBrandon came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballyconnel's Breck Hutton. But to his dismay, Breck Hutton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When Brant Beckett fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballyconnel's protests and gave Brant Beckett a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes Ballyconnel got a freekick which was hit by Brant Beckett. Gealan Cassin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradon Gollogley, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Scronagare's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Jeremiah McStephen scored to the left of an out of position Baydan McBrandon, making the score, 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rowland McIan to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Scronagare getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Bradon Gollogley hit a great ball. Baydan McBrandon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremiah McStephen in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Jeremiah McStephen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baydan McBrandon was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Baydan McBrandon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremiah McStephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bradon Gollogley during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ballyconnel booed when Scronagare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradon Gollogley didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Scronagare's Gearalt Bayes got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 75th minute Bradon Gollogley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gealan Cassin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scronagare's goalkeeper Baydan McBrandon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baydan McBrandon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremiah McStephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, Bel Cassin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scronagare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballyconnel the free kick. Baydan McBrandon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torrian McFrancise in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Bradon Gollogley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th match minute, Scronagare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berrach Tierney to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ballyconnel had won after a very even match.
