Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Logan Kirby took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ballinteskin's Farrell Hunt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bowen McTommy in the 3rd minute of play. Patty McLaughlin hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ballinteskin's Farrell Hunt got control of the ball when Barran Gillmour tried to sneak it across the goal line. Breslin McBjarton struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Cahir McFrank didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballinteskin. In the 14th minute, Bowen McTommy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Querrin Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Farrell Hunt made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Barran Gillmour sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Barran Gillmour had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Farrell Hunt. Ballinteskin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barran Gillmour was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 24th minute Brite McBrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farrell Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sameer Cronin during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sameer Cronin hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Logan Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballinteskin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Logan Kirby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sameer Cronin kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Barran Gillmour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Querrin Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Barran Gillmour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Farrell Hunt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barran Gillmour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farrell Hunt having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Brite McBrand made the kick off in the second half. Bowen McTommy kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Payton Dempsey during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Beag Ghee hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Bowen McTommy hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A hard shot 58 in the game by Logan Kirby from a close distance when the talented Cahir McFrank managed to make a qualified save. Querrin Utd's players were relieved. 59 minutes into the match, Breslin McBjarton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cahir McFrank, 2-1. Bowen McTommy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Querrin Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Logan Kirby came free, but Cahir McFrank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cahir McFrank came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ballinteskin's Logan Kirby. But to his dismay, Logan Kirby quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Bowen McTommy kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Breslin McBjarton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cahir McFrank having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Bowen McTommy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th match minute, Querrin Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conn Lester to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 83 in the game by Logan Kirby from a close distance when the talented Cahir McFrank managed to make a qualified save. Querrin Utd's players were relieved. The supporters of Querrin Utd booed when Ballinteskin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patty McLaughlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Farrell Hunt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brite McBrand in the 86th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Ballinteskin's Logan Kirby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cahir McFrank narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th minute Barran Gillmour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farrell Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
