Spectators: 6768 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Donavon McJames got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arthur McAlphie in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Britt McWillie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Britt McWillie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donavon McJames in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kilnagross Utd's zone, Arthur McAlphie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Britt McWillie came out of the goal and Arthur McAlphie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berke Prunty in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gearard McJohnny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Beehan Murphy 's shot from long distance in the 22nd minute was not bad at all, but Clooncogaile's Gearard McJohnny knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Boynton Deans kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aengus Todd got free with Gearard McJohnny in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arthur McAlphie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Britt McWillie having to interfere. Britt McWillie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donavon McJames's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Ros McLaughlin's late challenge caught a Kilnagross Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ros McLaughlin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Clooncogaile's Ros McLaughlin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Donavon McJames notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kilnagross Utd's Britt McWillie. Britt McWillie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arthur McAlphie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Britt McWillie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Arthur McAlphie scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Britt McWillie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berke Prunty to make the kick off. Donavon McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Britt McWillie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donavon McJames in the 67th minute of play. Donavon McJames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Britt McWillie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arthur McAlphie came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Clooncogaile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur McAlphie couldn't finish the play. If Arthur McAlphie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Kilnagross Utd got a freekick which was hit by Pierson Dillon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aengus Todd in the 82nd minute of play forced Clooncogaile's goalkeeper Gearard McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Clooncogaile's Arthur McAlphie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Britt McWillie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Clooncogaile's Arthur McAlphie got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Donavon McJames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donavon McJames might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Britt McWillie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donavon McJames ran back to his position shaking his head. Berke Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arthur McAlphie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clooncogaile played a much better game than Kilnagross Utd and deserved their victory. The Kilnagross Utd players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
