After a defensive mix-up in Subulter Utd's zone, Ravan McOliver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baiste McPeter came out of the goal and Ravan McOliver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Phelim McPaul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baiste McPeter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glen Costello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Brendan Dillon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Brenainn McStephen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bren Johnson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Baiste McPeter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brenainn McStephen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Dillon, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Brenainn McStephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phelim McPaul in the 35th minute of the match. After 38 minutes, Branagain McLiam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Subulter Utd and the Clonbulloge players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Branagain McLiam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Clonbulloge's Baiste McPeter threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Glen Costello, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Glen Costello made a kick off. Brendan Dillon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Brenainn McStephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Bren Johnson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Baiste McPeter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boylan Grant charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boylan Grant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Clonbulloge booed when Subulter Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boylan Grant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baiste McPeter came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Clonbulloge's Dugan Savic. But to his dismay, Dugan Savic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Baiste McPeter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bren Johnson in the 77th minute of play. Baiste McPeter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bren Johnson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bren Johnson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baiste McPeter having to interfere. Baiste McPeter came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Clonbulloge's Bren Johnson. But to his dismay, Bren Johnson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Clonbulloge fully deserved thier win.
