Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Blar McWilliam made the kick off which started today's match. Baiste McPeter came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballyquin's Patton Prunty. But to his dismay, Patton Prunty quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Subulter Utd's Baiste McPeter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patton Prunty in the 12th minute of play. Ballyquin's Healey Todd got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Subulter Utd's Branagain McLiam got a free kick in the 17th minute. Patton Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baiste McPeter having to interfere. Baiste McPeter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bairee Kirby went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patton Prunty in the 27th minute of play forced Subulter Utd's goalkeeper Baiste McPeter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Ballyquin's Blar McWilliam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baiste McPeter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Brendan Dillon struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Breas McSteve didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Subulter Utd. Ballyquin's Ciarán Scully got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brendan Dillon's late challenge caught a Ballyquin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brendan Dillon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Brendan Dillon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Subulter Utd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ballyquin were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Brendan Dillon made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Subulter Utd's Baiste McPeter got control of the ball when Blar McWilliam tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Baiste McPeter managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Ballyquin's Patton Prunty fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Baiste McPeter made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Patton Prunty sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blar McWilliam in the 61st minute of play forced Subulter Utd's goalkeeper Baiste McPeter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breas McSteve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendan Dillon in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Subulter Utd's Brendan Dillon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breas McSteve narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Brendan Dillon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Subulter Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Brendan Dillon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breas McSteve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brendan Dillon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Breas McSteve having to make a save. Breas McSteve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendan Dillon in the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Patton Prunty could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Baiste McPeter however easily saved by the left post. When Brendan Dillon came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Subulter Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brendan Dillon couldn't finish the play. Breas McSteve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Dillon, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Bairee Kirby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th match minute, Subulter Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berk Hutton to maneuver through the defense. Baiste McPeter was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Briony Sheridan. 91 minutes into the match, Ballyquin's goal looked a bit too open when Brendan Dillon came free, but Breas McSteve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blar McWilliam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baiste McPeter having to interfere. In the 95th minute Blar McWilliam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baiste McPeter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ballyquin's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
