When Artt Frankson fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clonbulloge's protests and gave Artt Frankson a yellow card for diving instead. 29 minutes into the match, Clonbulloge's goal looked a bit too open when Healey Tierney came free, but Brenainn McStephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glen Costello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Liam Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Meenymore FC got a freekick which was hit by Berke Dalton . Bren Johnson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Liam Robinson made a huge save. Meenymore FC's Beccan McBjarton got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Bren Johnson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Liam Robinson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Glen Costello showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 45 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Healey Tierney made a kick off. In the 56th minute Clonbulloge were awarded a corner. Ravan McOliver went to the cornerflag to take it. Abbot McBrandon made a great header on Clonbulloge's corner, it was just that Meenymore FC's Liam Robinson managed to reach the ball for a save. 57 minutes into the game, Clonbulloge's Bren Johnson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Liam Robinson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 60th minute, Banon Gollogley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dugan Savic hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bren Johnson in the 68th minute of play forced Meenymore FC's goalkeeper Liam Robinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bren Johnson came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Clonbulloge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bren Johnson couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Clonbulloge's zone, Healey Tierney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brenainn McStephen came out of the goal and Healey Tierney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Glen Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clonbulloge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glen Costello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Liam Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glen Costello, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Liam Robinson came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Clonbulloge's Glen Costello. But to his dismay, Glen Costello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Liam Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glen Costello, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
