Donavon McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arthur McAlphie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Daron McMichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Finnahy booed when Clooncogaile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breaghdha McFrank didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game Peyton Tracy kicked a great long shot which passed Gearard McJohnny straight ahead into the goal, Result 2-0. One couldn't see Peyton Tracy behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. 22 minutes into the match, Finnahy's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur McAlphie came free, but Daron McMichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daron McMichel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donavon McJames's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 28 minutes, Donavon McJames made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Finnahy's Daron McMichel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute Burke Caffey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gearard McJohnny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lorcan McSteven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Clooncogaile got a freekick which was hit by Blanche Ghee. Donal McOliver hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Donavon McJames managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clooncogaile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donavon McJames was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lorcan McSteven might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gearard McJohnny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorcan McSteven ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Donavon McJames recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Finnahy's zone, Arthur McAlphie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daron McMichel came out of the goal and Arthur McAlphie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Burke Caffey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gearard McJohnny having to interfere. Daron McMichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boynton Deans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Arthur McAlphie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daron McMichel. The goal made the score 2-2. A collision led to Clooncogaile getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Boynton Deans hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Peyton Tracy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Clooncogaile's Gearard McJohnny didn't even have to move. Gearard McJohnny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorcan McSteven in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Burke Caffey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gearard McJohnny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boynton Deans was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 83 played minutes Clooncogaile got a freekick which was hit by Boynton Deans. 87 minutes into the game, Lorcan McSteven cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Gearard McJohnny was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Burke Caffey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gearard McJohnny was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. If Donavon McJames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute, Arthur McAlphie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
