Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brite McBrand took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Barran Gillmour cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Daron McMichel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Barran Gillmour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Daron McMichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cahir McFrank showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorcan McSteven in the 20th minute of the match. Cahir McFrank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burke Caffey, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Burke Caffey in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cahir McFrank prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 35 minutes, Lorcan McSteven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Finnahy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorcan McSteven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daron McMichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brite McBrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brite McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Querrin Utd booed when Finnahy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peyton Tracy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Briain Tierney's late challenge caught a Querrin Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Briain Tierney helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Briain Tierney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brite McBrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daron McMichel having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Bowen McTommy hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Lorcan McSteven managed to get in a good position for a shot. Finnahy's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorcan McSteven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cahir McFrank breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lorcan McSteven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cahir McFrank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lorcan McSteven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Burke Caffey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cahir McFrank having to make a save. 63 minutes into the game, Lorcan McSteven cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cahir McFrank was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the match, Querrin Utd's goalkeeper Cahir McFrank had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorcan McSteven. Lorcan McSteven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Cahir McFrank made a huge save. Cahir McFrank showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burke Caffey in the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Finnahy's Peyton Tracy got a free kick in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Barran Gillmour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Querrin Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Barran Gillmour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daron McMichel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cahir McFrank made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burke Caffey in the 88th minute of play. Burke Caffey struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Cahir McFrank didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Finnahy. Finnahy's Daron McMichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brite McBrand in the 91st minute of play.
