Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Glen Costello started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th match minute, Clonbulloge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ravan McOliver to maneuver through the defense. A well placed Glen Costello short distance shot in the 8th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. 16 minutes into the game, Edwin Scully was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Querrin Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clonbulloge the free kick. 18 minutes in the game Artt Frankson after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Cahir McFrank. A very good opportunity. Bren Johnsons short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Cahir McFrank to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Querrin Utd getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Conn Lester hit a great ball. If Bren Johnson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes, Querrin Utd's Sameer Cronin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brenainn McStephen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Querrin Utd reached it. Bren Johnson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cahir McFrank firmly grabbed it by the left post. Brenainn McStephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brite McBrand in the 39th minute of the match. If Brite McBrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Brite McBrand made the kick off in the second half. Brite McBrand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brenainn McStephen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Barran Gillmour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Brenainn McStephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brenainn McStephen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barran Gillmour in the 60th minute. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Barran Gillmour got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Barran Gillmour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bren Johnson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cahir McFrank having to interfere. Kennedy Tracy kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. With a little luck, Clonbulloge's Brenainn McStephen got control of the ball when Barran Gillmour tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Glen Costello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clonbulloge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brite McBrand in the 95th minute of play forced Clonbulloge's goalkeeper Brenainn McStephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Querrin Utd's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
