Ciarán Scully hit a great ball. In the 4th match minute, Ballyquin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bairee Kirby to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Patton Prunty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barran Gillmour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Breas McSteve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Querrin Utd's Cahir McFrank played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patton Prunty in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Ballyquin's goal looked a bit too open when Brite McBrand came free, but Breas McSteve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Querrin Utd booed when Ballyquin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bairee Kirby didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Brite McBrand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Breas McSteve was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Ballyquin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Barran Gillmour's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Breas McSteve firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 38 minutes, Brite McBrand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Querrin Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brite McBrand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Querrin Utd's Brite McBrand in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Querrin Utd's Cahir McFrank proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Querrin Utd from getting a goal against them. Ballyquin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barran Gillmour was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Barran Gillmour blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Breas McSteve having to make a save. Brite McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patton Prunty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Cahir McFrank made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Barran Gillmour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Querrin Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Barran Gillmour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breas McSteve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Patton Prunty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Ballyquin's Blar McWilliam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cahir McFrank narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Patton Prunty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballyquin's supporters rose to their feet, but Patton Prunty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cahir McFrank breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Blar McWilliam fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cahir McFrank, passed just outside the right post. Patton Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
