Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 12th minute, Breffni Bayes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Burke Caffey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Finnahy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 18th minute, Paudraig McLaughlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Subulter Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Caffey to maneuver through the defense. When Lorcan McSteven fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Finnahy's protests and gave Lorcan McSteven a yellow card for diving instead. Lorcan McSteven kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Finnahy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Brendan Dillon scored to the left of an out of position Daron McMichel, making the score, 1-1. Lorcan McSteven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baiste McPeter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burke Caffey in the 31st minute of play. Geralt Walker scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baiste McPeter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th match minute, Subulter Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bras McBrand to maneuver through the defense. Brendan Dillon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Daron McMichel made a huge save. The corner ended in Branagain McLiam almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Finnahy's Daron McMichel did a great save. Daron McMichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendan Dillon in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Finnahy were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Burke Caffey to make the kick off. Breffni Bayes charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Breffni Bayes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, one of Subulter Utd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Subulter Utd. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Finnahy. Peyton Tracy stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baiste McPeter. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Subulter Utd's Boylan Grant got a free kick in the 57th minute. Baiste McPeter was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Donal McOliver. 61 minutes into the match, Finnahy's goal looked a bit too open when Brendan Dillon came free, but Daron McMichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Phelim McPaul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th match minute, Subulter Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phelim McPaul to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Finnahy's goalkeeper Daron McMichel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Donal McOliver made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Subulter Utd's Boylan Grant. When Subulter Utd's Brendan Dillon in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Finnahy's goalie prevented a goal. Geralt Walker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Finnahy getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Hayes McAaron hit a great ball. Daron McMichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendan Dillon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Dillon in the 94th minute of play forced Finnahy's goalkeeper Daron McMichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Finnahy played a much better game than Subulter Utd and deserved their victory. The Subulter Utd players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
