Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Crosskeel's Donoghue McTommy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Fionn Taylor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 4 played minutes Crosskeel got a freekick which was hit by Bourns Hamilton. When Braedon Hamilton came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Markhamstown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braedon Hamilton couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute Braedon Hamilton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kennedy McTom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baptist McCollion was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Donoghue McTommy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Donoghue McTommy really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Markhamstown's Fionn Taylor got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Markhamstown's Braedon Hamilton in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crosskeel's goalie prevented a goal. In the 23rd match minute, Crosskeel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trien Willson to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Braedon Hamilton put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kennedy McTom. Kennedy McTom didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Markhamstown's Braedon Hamilton shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Baptist McCollion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Killian Dillon in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Markhamstown's Fionn Taylor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kennedy McTom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Crosskeel's goal looked a bit too open when Braoin Hamilton came free, but Kennedy McTom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baptist McCollion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donoghue McTommy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Markhamstown's Keely McStephen got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Killian Dillon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Braedon Hamilton struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Kennedy McTom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Markhamstown. Baptist McCollion was a little too slow when Donoghue McTommy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Braedon Hamilton to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donoghue McTommy in the 57th minute of play forced Markhamstown's goalkeeper Baptist McCollion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braedon Hamilton in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kennedy McTom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Keely McStephen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Kennedy McTom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Crosskeel's goal looked a bit too open when Braedon Hamilton came free, but Kennedy McTom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Crosskeel defense, Braedon Hamilton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kennedy McTom. The Crosskeel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kennedy McTom should have stopped the shot. Braedon Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Markhamstown's goal looked a bit too open when Donoghue McTommy came free, but Baptist McCollion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Crosskeel's Kennedy McTom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Crosskeel from getting a goal against them. When Crosskeel's Killian Dillon in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Markhamstown's goalie prevented a goal. Crosskeel's Kennedy McTom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braoin Hamilton in the 89th minute of play. Kennedy McTom made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Braedon Hamilton sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 93 minutes, Fionn Taylor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Markhamstown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fionn Taylor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kevis Caffey hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Markhamstown walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
