Donoghue McTommy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Crosskeel's goalkeeper Kennedy McTom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobin McTom . Meadstown's Shamus McPaul got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Crosskeel's goal looked a bit too open when Shamus McPaul came free, but Kennedy McTom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes, Beltany McPhilip mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crosskeel and the Meadstown players grew even worse after the yellow card. Beltany McPhilip hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Aaden Harkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crosskeel's goalkeeper Kennedy McTom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Meadstown's Braon McPeter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Killian Dillon in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Meadstown's Aaden Harkin got a free kick in the 44th minute. 49 minutes into the match, Meadstown's goal looked a bit too open when Donoghue McTommy came free, but Braon McPeter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

60 minutes into the match, Crosskeel's goal looked a bit too open when Shamus McPaul came free, but Kennedy McTom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Killian Dillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Killian Dillon in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braon McPeter saved Meadstown from getting behind. 66 minutes into the game, Rollan McStephen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meadstown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crosskeel the free kick. Meadstown's Braon McPeter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Meadstown from getting a goal against them. Braon McPeter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donoghue McTommy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Killian Dillon came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Crosskeel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Killian Dillon couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Killian Dillon got free with Braon McPeter in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blaine McLiam kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Killian Dillon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Crosskeel's zone, Tobin McTom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kennedy McTom came out of the goal and Tobin McTom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute Crosskeel were awarded a corner. Herygh McPhilip went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Herygh McPhilip almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Meadstown's Braon McPeter did a great save. Tobin McTom charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobin McTom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Tobin McTom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Meadstown's goalkeeper Braon McPeter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Killian Dillon. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Crosskeel walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
