Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) Corry's Becc Myler started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rory Jameson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Becc Myler, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 5 played minutes Kilcolumb got a freekick which was hit by Bairthmead John. Blavock Lavine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Rory Jameson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Becc Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, Corry's goal looked a bit too open when Lorcan Sheridan came free, but Tierney Ghee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorcan Sheridan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tierney Ghee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boyce Prunty charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boyce Prunty the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Corry getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Boyce Prunty hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Kilcolumb's goal looked a bit too open when Becc Myler came free, but Rory Jameson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Becc Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Becc Crowe scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tierney Ghee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lorcan Sheridan in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tierney Ghee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Becc Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bardon Deans kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Corry got a freekick which was hit by Breffni McJohn. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Becc Crowe took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tierney Ghee. Tierney Ghee dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Becc Myler kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 minutes of play, Kilcolumb's Lorcan Sheridan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tierney Ghee was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rory Jameson made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Blavock Lavine sent off a good shot on target. Blavock Lavine was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Kilcolumb's Rory Jameson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Becc Myler in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Kilcolumb's goal looked a bit too open when Becc Myler came free, but Rory Jameson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rory Jameson was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Becc Myler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Becc Myler really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Blavock Lavine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kilcolumb's Rory Jameson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Kilcolumb from getting a goal against them. Blavock Lavine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Rory Jameson made a huge save. Kilcolumb were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Corry for a fine match.
