Skeahanagh's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Shamus McPaul 14 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. A collision led to Meadstown getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rollan McStephen hit a great ball. Braon McPeter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bercan Lavine, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Shamus McPaul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meadstown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shamus McPaul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Shamus McPaul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tobin McTom came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Meadstown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobin McTom couldn't finish the play. Shamus McPaul succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Gealan Willson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobin McTom , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Braon McPeter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bercan Lavine, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bercan Lavine in the 46th minute of play forced Meadstown's goalkeeper Braon McPeter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donal Crowe in the 66th minute of play forced Meadstown's goalkeeper Braon McPeter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braon McPeter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bradon McPeter in the 69th minute. When Bercan Lavine came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Skeahanagh fans jumped to their feet. The audience was convinced that Bercan Lavine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Braon McPeter was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Donal Crowe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, one of Meadstown:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Meadstown. A collision led to Skeahanagh getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Brazil Deery hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beacan Deans got free with Braon McPeter in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
