Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pierson Hunt made the kick off which started today's match. Bradagain Holt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Dawayne McTommy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Tromra FC's goalkeeper Britain Delaney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rowley McWill. A collision led to Sligo getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Terence Palmer hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pierson Hunt in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dawayne McTommy saved Sligo from getting behind. In the 21st minute Breenan McVictor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Britain Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sligo's Bram Caffrey shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Britain Delaney but with some difficulty. Tady Ferguson charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tady Ferguson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tromra FC's Tady Ferguson got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Breenan McVictor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sligo's supporters rose to their feet, but Breenan McVictor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Britain Delaney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rowley McWill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Britain Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradagain Holt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tromra FC's Bradagain Holt got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bradagain Holt in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dawayne McTommy prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Breenan McVictor to make the kick off. Bradagain Holt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sligo's Dawayne McTommy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierson Hunt in the 56th minute of play. When Tromra FC's Pierson Hunt in 69 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Dawayne McTommy guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 70th minute Breenan McVictor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Britain Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Pierson Hunt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dawayne McTommy. Pierson Hunt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pierson Hunt in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dawayne McTommy saved Sligo from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Breenan McVictor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Sligo defense, Bradagain Holt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dawayne McTommy. The Sligo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dawayne McTommy should have stopped the shot. Pierson Hunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Sligo's goal looked a bit too open when Pierson Hunt came free, but Dawayne McTommy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dawayne McTommy came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Tromra FC's Pierson Hunt. But to his dismay, Pierson Hunt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Tromra FC played a much better game than Sligo and deserved their victory. The Sligo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
