Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Lorcan Sheridan came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Kilcolumb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorcan Sheridan couldn't finish the play. Rory Jameson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Breenan McVictor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Rory Jameson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breenan McVictor, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Dawayne McTommy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorcan Sheridan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rowley McWill got free with Rory Jameson in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Kilcolumb's goalkeeper Rory Jameson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rowley McWill. The supporters of Sligo booed when Kilcolumb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beamard Horgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sligo's Dawayne McTommy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorcan Sheridan in the 29th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Breenan McVictor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rowley McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kilcolumb fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Kilcolumb:s Rory Jameson showed great skill when he stopped Bram Caffrey:s penalty. In the 44th minute Breenan McVictor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rory Jameson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beamard Horgan kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Rory Jameson made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Rowley McWill sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rowley McWill struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Rory Jameson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sligo. In the 61st match minute, Kilcolumb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorcan Sheridan to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Kilcolumb's goal looked a bit too open when Breenan McVictor came free, but Rory Jameson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dawayne McTommy made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Becc Crowe sent off a good shot on target. Rowley McWill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rory Jameson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rory Jameson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breenan McVictor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breenan McVictor scored 2-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rory Jameson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Breenan McVictor notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Kilcolumb's Rory Jameson. Rory Jameson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rory Jameson came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sligo's Breenan McVictor. But to his dismay, Breenan McVictor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Rory Jameson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breenan McVictor, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The audience was convinced that Breenan McVictor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rory Jameson was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. 94 minutes into the match, Kilcolumb's goal looked a bit too open when Breenan McVictor came free, but Rory Jameson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sligo had won after a very even match.
