Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pierson Hunt kicked off to start the match. Ballyfarnan AFC's Tirloch Hamilton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradagain Holt in the 6th minute of play. After 9 minutes, Kealan Mullan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballyfarnan AFC and the Tromra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tromra FC booed when Ballyfarnan AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kealan Mullan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Pierson Hunt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tromra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierson Hunt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tromra FC's Bradagain Holt got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tirloch Hamilton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierson Hunt in the 46th minute of the match. If Dugan Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dugan Moran to strike the kick off in the second half. Pierson Hunt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Dugan Moran scored 1-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Britain Delaney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Britain Delaney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dugan Moran, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Britain Delaney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballyfarnan AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dugan Moran in the 73rd minute of play forced Tromra FC's goalkeeper Britain Delaney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75thth minute of the game Pierson Hunt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballyfarnan AFC's Tirloch Hamilton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Britain Delaney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dugan Moran in the 79th minute of the match. Britain Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dugan Moran in the 84th minute of play. Bradagain Holt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Tirloch Hamilton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ballyfarnan AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tromra FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
