Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Shamus McPaul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tierney Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tierney Ghee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shamus McPaul in the 6th minute of play. Blavock Lavine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braon McPeter having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Meadstown's goal looked a bit too open when Blavock Lavine came free, but Braon McPeter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Becc Myler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Braon McPeter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Meadstown's Blaine McLiam got a free kick in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Becc Myler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corry's supporters rose to their feet, but Becc Myler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braon McPeter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shamus McPaul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Tierney Ghee made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Tobin McTom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Braon McPeter came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Corry's Becc Myler. But to his dismay, Becc Myler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 35th minute, Shamus McPaul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Finn Caffey put in a rough tackle. 36 minutes into the game, one of Corry:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nolyn Dempsey placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Tierney Ghee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shamus McPaul, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Shamus McPaul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shamus McPaul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Tierney Ghee made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blavock Lavine to make the kick off. Blavock Lavine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braon McPeter having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Boyce Prunty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Meadstown's Braon McPeter got control of the ball when Blavock Lavine tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Meadstown's Blaine McLiam got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Blavock Lavine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Meadstown's Shamus McPaul got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tobin McTom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tierney Ghee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Corry's goal looked a bit too open when Tobin McTom came free, but Tierney Ghee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blavock Lavine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blavock Lavine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Braon McPeter made a huge save. Braon McPeter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blavock Lavine went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Boyce Prunty's late challenge caught a Meadstown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boyce Prunty helped the player get up and apologised. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Corry walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
