Kennedy McTom made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Herne Mulvihill sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Crosskeel were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donoghue McTommy was the one to do the kick off. Gearroid McLian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donoghue McTommy, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Bawnfune AFC's Gearroid McLian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Bawnfune AFC from getting a goal against them. Begg McSteve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Donoghue McTommy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crosskeel's supporters rose to their feet, but Donoghue McTommy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gearroid McLian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Killian Dillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gearroid McLian having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Killian Dillon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gearroid McLian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donoghue McTommy in the 71st minute of play. If Donoghue McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes Bawnfune AFC got a freekick which was hit by Reagan Gallagher. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Donoghue McTommy put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Gearroid McLian. A hard shot 83 in the game by Killian Dillon from a close distance when the talented Gearroid McLian managed to make a qualified save. Bawnfune AFC's players were relieved.
