After a rather tough play, Corry's Boyce Prunty got a free kick in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Corry's goal looked a bit too open when Keelin John came free, but Tierney Ghee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Blavock Lavine notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ballinaboy's Damian Silke. Damian Silke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Blavock Lavine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Geary Todd could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Tierney Ghee however easily saved by the left post. Ballinaboy's Geary Todd got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Keelin John had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Blavock Lavine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Silke was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 97th match minute, Corry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conan Martyn to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremiah Brennan got free with Tierney Ghee in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corry's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
