Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Baine McAaron got the match started through his kick off. Rooney Gollogley was a little too slow when Gaynor McBjarton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 7th minute Braoin McAaron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braeden McFrancise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Corraneary's goal looked a bit too open when Braoin McAaron came free, but Braeden McFrancise reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Myrtlegrove's Ailín Myler got a free kick in the 10th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Baine McAaron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rooney Gollogley. Myrtlegrove's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baine McAaron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Baine McAaron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corraneary's supporters rose to their feet, but Baine McAaron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rooney Gollogley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corraneary's goalkeeper Braeden McFrancise, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the game, Corraneary's Baine McAaron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rooney Gollogley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Braeden McFrancise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phelim McLiam in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Corraneary booed when Myrtlegrove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ailín Myler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baine McAaron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Corraneary's Gaynor McBjarton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rooney Gollogley. Rooney Gollogley yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Baine McAaron in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rooney Gollogley, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 47 minutes into the match, Baine McAaron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rooney Gollogley. Myrtlegrove's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baine McAaron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Phelim McLiam made the kick off in the second half. Phelim McLiam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braeden McFrancise having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Corraneary's Baine McAaron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rooney Gollogley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baine McAaron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Braoin McAaron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rooney Gollogley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baine McAaron, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Corraneary's Bernard Walker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rooney Gollogley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Myrtlegrove's Rooney Gollogley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Walker in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Ailín Myler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Myrtlegrove's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corraneary the free kick. The supporters of Corraneary booed when Myrtlegrove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ailín Myler didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Daron McDonald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rooney Gollogley. Myrtlegrove's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daron McDonald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Baine McAaron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 minutes, Gaynor McBjarton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corraneary and the Myrtlegrove players grew even worse after the yellow card. Torrian McDonald hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Corraneary walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
