The Whitegate AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 39th match minute, Stroove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Booak Benson to maneuver through the defense. After 45 minutes, Phelan McJon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Whitegate AFC and the Stroove players grew even worse after the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Phelim Perth to strike the kick off in the second half. Whitegate AFC's attentive Baptist Mulvihill managed to snatch the ball when Cathal McCready made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. Whitegate AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
