Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bivadas Sheridan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Drumcoura AFC's Peyton Todd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierson Brennan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Royan McBjarton fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oughterard's protests and gave Royan McBjarton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Royan McBjarton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Egan O'Brien ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bairne McFrancise was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 15th match minute, Drumcoura AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brannagh Coyle to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th match minute, Oughterard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoffrey McDecland to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Drumcoura AFC were awarded a corner. Phelan McTommy went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 30th minute, Peyton Todd fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Peyton Todd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierson Brennan having to make a save. Bairne McFrancise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tevis McFrancise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Drumcoura AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. George McJohn hit a great ball. Binne McLiam made in the 45th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Geoffrey McDecland however managed to control. Bairne McFrancise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Royan McBjarton in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Royan McBjarton made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Oughterard's Binne McLiam got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to Drumcoura AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Phelan McTommy hit a great ball. After 55 played minutes Drumcoura AFC got a freekick which was hit by Donan McFrancise. Bivadas Sheridan took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pierson Brennan . Pierson Brennan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Brannan McLaughlin kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Oughterard defense, Bivadas Sheridan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierson Brennan . The Oughterard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierson Brennan should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Bivadas Sheridan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drumcoura AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bivadas Sheridan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierson Brennan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Bivadas Sheridan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Drumcoura AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Oughterard's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Drumcoura AFC had won, even though Oughterard had held more of the ball.
