Binean Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breadan McBjarton having to interfere. Rian McCollion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corraneary's Daron McDonald got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baine McAaron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baine McAaron got free with Breadan McBjarton in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Baine McAaron came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Corraneary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baine McAaron couldn't finish the play. Rian McCollion kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Troy Ghee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Baine McAaron made the kick off in the second half. Gaynor McBjarton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rian McCollion fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stroove's protests and gave Rian McCollion a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Corraneary booed when Stroove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rian McCollion didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Corraneary's Daron McDonald got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th match minute, Stroove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rian McCollion to maneuver through the defense. Breadan McBjarton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baine McAaron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baine McAaron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaynor McBjarton in the 88th minute of play forced Stroove's goalkeeper Breadan McBjarton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Booak Benson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stroove's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corraneary the free kick. The supporters of Corraneary booed when Stroove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Booak Benson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baine McAaron struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Breadan McBjarton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corraneary. Corraneary's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
