Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Douglas McJohnny kicked off to start the match. In the 12th minute, Baine McAaron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bodibeua Gillmour was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Baine McAaron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 19 minutes, Bernard Walker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corraneary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Walker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute, Baine McAaron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Douglas McJohnny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braeden McFrancise having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Baine McAaron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bodibeua Gillmour was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Kilcommon defense, Baine McAaron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bodibeua Gillmour. The Kilcommon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bodibeua Gillmour should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Baine McAaron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bodibeua Gillmour was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Baine McAaron blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bodibeua Gillmour having to make a save. Gaynor McBjarton might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bodibeua Gillmour. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaynor McBjarton ran back to his position shaking his head. Binean Costello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The crowd rose to their feet as Gaynor McBjarton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bodibeua Gillmour. That made the score 0-6 in the 54 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Douglas McJohnny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilcommon's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas McJohnny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braeden McFrancise breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st match minute, Corraneary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Binean Costello to maneuver through the defense. Braeden McFrancise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bin Dunne in the 62nd minute of the match. Baine McAaron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Bodibeua Gillmour made a huge save. Bat Robinson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bodibeua Gillmour came out and tried to block the shot, but Bat Robinson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 64th minute. Bodibeua Gillmour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Walker in the 73rd minute of play. Bernard Walker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Bodibeua Gillmour made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Gaynor McBjarton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bodibeua Gillmour, 0-8. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Baine McAaron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corraneary's supporters rose to their feet, but Baine McAaron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bodibeua Gillmour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bodibeua Gillmour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaynor McBjarton, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Kilcommon's Ciarán McLiam got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Bernard Walker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bodibeua Gillmour having to make a save. Ciarán McLiam charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciarán McLiam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd match minute, Kilcommon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciarán McLiam to maneuver through the defense. Baine McAaron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bodibeua Gillmour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 99th minute of the match Kilcommon got a corner. Corraneary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Keegan Quinnless ran over to the corner to take the kick. Keegan Quinnless made a great header on Kilcommon's corner, it was just that Corraneary's Braeden McFrancise managed to reach the ball for a save.
