In the 17thth minute of the game Bryan McGlenn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Richardstown Utd's Begg McPhilip was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute Bryan McGlenn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Begg McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bailey Duggan in the 24th minute of play forced Inniskeen AFC's goalkeeper Philip Branson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bailey Duggan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Richardstown Utd booed when Inniskeen AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blathma Dillon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Ailín McJohnny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Philip Branson. Inniskeen AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ailín McJohnny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Tevin McLaughlin fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inniskeen AFC's protests and gave Tevin McLaughlin a yellow card for diving instead. Tevin McLaughlin kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Bailey Duggan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Philip Branson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred McAlphie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40thth minute of the game Bryan McGlenn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Richardstown Utd's Begg McPhilip was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfred McAlphie struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Begg McPhilip didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inniskeen AFC. In the 44th minute, Bryan McGlenn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Begg McPhilip was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bailey Duggan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Richardstown Utd's Ailín McJohnny in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alfred McAlphie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Begg McPhilip made a huge save. In the 86th minute of the match, Alfred McAlphie got a very nice opportunity to score, but Begg McPhilip was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Richardstown Utd booed when Inniskeen AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blathma Dillon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Richardstown Utd's Ailín McJohnny sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philip Branson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute Bailey Duggan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Branson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 98 minutes, Bailey Duggan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Richardstown Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bailey Duggan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
