Richardstown Utd's Begg McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bairne McBrand in the 19th minute of play. Braoin Holt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Begg McPhilip skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ailín McJohnny kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Begg McPhilip made an important save on a dangerous shot by Braoin Holt in the 33rd minute. Bray McNamee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bailey Duggan, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braoin Holt to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Cooraclare's Braoin Holt made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Begg McPhilip was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56thth minute of the game Braoin Holt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Richardstown Utd's Begg McPhilip was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Richardstown Utd's zone, Braoin Holt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Begg McPhilip came out of the goal and Braoin Holt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aron McTom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Begg McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braoin Holt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Begg McPhilip having to interfere. A collision led to Richardstown Utd getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Cormac Benson hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes Richardstown Utd got a freekick which was hit by Derrick McDonald. The supporters of Richardstown Utd booed when Cooraclare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ardán McLiam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braoin Holt took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Begg McPhilip. Begg McPhilip dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Braoin Holt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braoin Holt might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Begg McPhilip. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
