Bryan McGlenn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brite Quinnless having to interfere. Alfred McAlphie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Brite Quinnless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tevin McLaughlin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. In the 90th minute, Aodh Cronin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lelagh's Brine Frankson got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lelagh's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
