This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Begg McPhilip as he didn't even see the shot coming. Boroimhe Martyn succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 11th playminute. Begg McPhilip made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brin Dunne in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, DS Wesrt's Balor Robinson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Begg McPhilip. Begg McPhilip yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Begg McPhilip made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Brin Dunne sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th of the match, Balor Robinson tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Begg McPhilip got in the way and made a wonderful save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Balor Robinson to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Richardstown Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Brin Dunne came free, but Begg McPhilip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brin Dunne took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Begg McPhilip. Begg McPhilip dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After 59 minutes of play, DS Wesrt's Brin Dunne made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Begg McPhilip was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th minute, Brin Dunne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Begg McPhilip was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0.
