Felim Glen Crowe was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arnold Willson. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Taghmon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maryland:s goal. The referee gave Maryland a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Batt Gollogley , who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Taghmon's Healey Silke. 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kevis Harkin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 60 minutes, Harrington Ghee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taghmon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harrington Ghee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Harrington Ghee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felim Glen Crowe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harrington Ghee in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Taghmon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harrington Ghee to maneuver through the defense. Bradaigh Brennan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
