If Bragan Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee ignored Garr FC's protests and gave Suibhne McCollion a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keefe Glen Crowe in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Breffni Tracy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Finnigan McMichel was the one to do the kick off. Bragan Gallagher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 played minutes Garr FC got a freekick which was hit by Finnigan McMichel. Bragan Gallagher who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Breffni Tracy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Beehan Coyle's late challenge caught a Garr FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beehan Coyle helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes, Garr FC's Biviti Todd shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bradagain Hamilton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Garr FC reached it. 61 minutes into the match, Finnigan McMichel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bradagain Hamilton. Lisnabrack's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Finnigan McMichel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Keefe Glen Crowe got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bragan Gallagher succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 65th playminute. The supporters of Lisnabrack booed when Garr FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donegan McJames didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bragan Gallagher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Breffni Tracy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Keefe Glen Crowe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bragan Gallagher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breffni Tracy having to interfere. Bragan Gallagher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Breffni Tracy made a huge save. Brine Hutton charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brine Hutton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, Lisnabrack was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brine Hutton to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bragan Gallagher got free with Breffni Tracy in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Breffni Tracy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keefe Glen Crowe, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Bragan Gallagher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breffni Tracy having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Keefe Glen Crowe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
