Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Suibhne McCollion started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartel MaCollin got free with Bodibeua Callaghan in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Keelin Brennan scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bodibeua Callaghan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Glen Hamilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Conn McCready hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Lochlainn Gallagher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Legland's Donn McJames tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Battiemount's Bodibeua Callaghan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Battiemount from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the game, Glen Hamilton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Battiemount's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Legland the free kick. In the 38th match minute, Battiemount was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glen Hamilton to maneuver through the defense. Bodibeua Callaghan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Suibhne McCollion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cullan McPhilip during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Cullan McPhilip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boyne Coyle to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Legland booed when Battiemount was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lochlainn Gallagher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bodibeua Callaghan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Suibhne McCollion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Battiemount getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Beagan Glen Crowe hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match Donn McJames sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bodibeua Callaghan skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Legland booed when Battiemount was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lochlainn Gallagher didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Boyne Coyle came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Battiemount fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boyne Coyle couldn't finish the play. Cullan McPhilip kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Battiemount's goal looked a bit too open when Suibhne McCollion came free, but Bodibeua Callaghan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Suibhne McCollion in the 80th minute of play forced Battiemount's goalkeeper Bodibeua Callaghan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bodibeua Callaghan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartel MaCollin in the 84th minute of the match. Battiemount's Boyne Coyle got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Legland's Suibhne McCollion got a free kick in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Legland fully deserved thier win.
